For this review, I worked with the 1/4" and 1/2" General-Purpose Bandsaw Blades. They also come in 3/16", 3/8" and 3/4" blade widths and a large number of lengths from 70-1/2" to 160" to cover most bandsaw configurations. The blades are made from 0.025" thick carbon steel with a …

5 Best Band Saw Blades Reviews of 2021 - BestAdvisor

Mar 30, 2015·Save about 110 bucks on the saw, now I need blades. In the past I've used mostly Timberwolf blades and I've been impressed with their performance. Laguna's current promotion is a "free" 3/4" resaw king with the purchase of a Laguna saw. I've heard some mixed reviews about the Resaw King blades.

Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blades Review | WoodWorkers Guild of ...

These blades are thin kerf, low tension, and made from Swedish silicon steel. It’s easier for your saw to push a thin kerf blade through a cut than a standard kerf blade. At .025″ , Timber Wolf blades are about 25% narrower than most other band saw blades. These blades cut using much less tension than “standard” band saw blades.

Jan 21, 2004·I'll second the comment about Lenox (American Saw) carbide tipped bandsaw blades for resawing. I use an Agazanni Cosma 700 (28in) bandsaw (sold iunder the Eagle Euro and in the States, I believe) and that's precisely what works best for me in 3/4in and 1-1/4in hook tooth 2 / 3 tpi varipitch (no harmonics on stuff like ebony).

Oct 29, 2017·Our bandsaw blades are terrible, so the only resaw capability we have is a tablesaw that limits it to 8” wide. Between flipping the piece and blade width, you are lucky if you can keep from loosing 1/4” on each slice. As expensive as some of the wood I cut is, this could pay for itself in one project.
