Amazon : New Archery Products NAP Zip Saw Replacement ...

I have used the Zip saw for maybe 10 years. Great product. I have also purchased replacement blades in the past and have also worked perfect. I estimate you get about 10 deer out of a set of blades. You need to be gently and let the blades do the work. Do not lift it’s not a chain! This is the bad part!

Cable saw for pelvic bone | GON Forum

Nov 08, 2007·Nov 7, 2007. #3. I don't split the pelvis for three reasons. One, it's a pain in the butt. Two, it leaves bone dust on the meat which I've heard causes the meat in that area to taste bad. Three, I don't have to remove the bladder or the rectum. I remove the hams from the pelvis by following the bone and disjointing the ball and socket joints.

Pelvic bone splitter, particularly for deer - ELROD GEOFF

Mar 29, 2000·Using a saw is slow and requires substantial effort. It is also sharp and cumbersome to carry. Pelvic bone splitting tools that rely on impact from an integral sliding weight are safer and more effective. Their main disadvantage, however, is the weight of the tool.
